Bedspreads in true to life colors. Bedspreads coverlets from ShalinCraft are handcrafted by textile artisans of Jaipur in Rajasthan. These bedspread coverlets are made in double layer cotton fabric. The resulting heaviness from two layers allows the bedspread coverlet to fall straight on the sides.Total cutting and stitching work in the Applique Cut work is done by hand. It is distinct from what is known as patch work in which small pieces of cut fabrics are usually joined side by side to make a large piece of fabric or for repairing a damaged fabric.

ShalinCraft Bed Comforter Bedspread in Cotton Apr 13, 2009 These hand block printed bed covers have become central piece of decoration in my bedroom. These are rustic and at the same time elegant. Since these bed covers are so colorful and are mostly in darker shades, I have tried to build a contrast by painting my walls in mushroom white. I did not go for pure white as that would have taken away some of the rustic feel. To add to the ethnic effects, on one of the walls I have hung a textile wall hanging from Gujarat, and on opposite wall I have hung a folk painting from Madhubani. The overall effect is truly pristine.

Asian decor Nov 13, 2007 Made in handloom woven cotton fabric, bed spreads from Jaipur are eye catching. Beautiful traditional Indian motifs are hand block printed by artisans of Jaipur. There is also some thread embroidery around each motif.These natural block printed bed spreads have some kind of air conditioning effort. They make you feel cool in summers and warm in winters.
